Tips and Tricks to a Child Centered Classroom

In our session we will weave the important components of a child centered classroom. First, we will discuss teacher care, to avoid the burnout! Next, we will discuss inclusion and our best practices from morning check-ins, classroom jobs and fostering positive relationships. Finally, we will dive into how to celebrate the capabilities for all abilities. We will also share our daily classroom structure/schedule for a play-based classroom. This session will also include tips and tricks for behavior management and a "make and take".
