The goal of this session is to educate Head Start communities on environmental health and safety topics, and showcase state-led initiatives to keep children in learning communities safe from environmental hazards. Tentatively, the session will be comprised of about 5 mini-presentations on the following topics: Introduction to Children's Environmental Health; Lead Hazards; Contaminants in Drinking Water; Indoor Air (Radon, Vapor Intrusion); DHS Children's Environmental Health Initiatives.
