Ashley Bowers

Wisconsin Alliance for Infant Mental Health
Infant Mental Health Manager
Ashley has worked professionally with children and families for the past 14+ years, initially as Parenting Specialist and subsequently as a fully credentialed Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Mental Health Consultant, and supervisor of an outpatient mental health clinic where she also served as a post-graduate instructor and supervisor to other clinicians-in-training while completing their licensing hours. Since joining WI-AIMH in January 2019, she has served as a trainer, reflective supervisor, Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant, and Endorsement Coordinator. She has a wealth of direct service experience as a clinician and mental health consultant balanced with administrative expertise in program development, coordination, and management. Her experience as a systemically trained psychotherapist has served to elevate her interests to focus work in Infant and Early Childhood Mental where she may utilize her passion and skills in relationally-based, culturally attuned practice, having recognized the tremendous opportunity and inherent vulnerability for development occurring in the first five years. She finds great value in partnering with adults working with and on behalf of young children and families to create solid foundations that support children’s social and emotional development while also fostering healing and growth for adults who may not have been afforded the same opportunities in their youth.
